How do you deal with hot days?

I live in So Cal. It’s sooo hot here. I just stay inside and use the AC and a fan, as I don’t have swimming pool. Sometimes it’s too hot for that even anyway. Drinking ice water helps obviously, or consuming anything cold. I’ve heard running your wrists under cold water helps cool you down too.

Nature's air conditioning.

The mountains got up to 33°C but you can't feel it if you sit in the shade downwind from a mountain river. The mist & air is cold.

I see you in your hat!

Haha yes, that is me in my oversized hat 👒

Not taking anymore risks of getting sunburned, once was enough this year. 😅

What mountains are those? Pretty awesome view.

These mountains are the Canadian Rockies between Jasper & Banff. I highly recommend driving the Icefields Parkway if you ever get the opportunity.

Haha ya I feel pretty lucky to live near the mountains. I spend most of my time in them during summer. I melt like a candle in hot weather 🤣

Apparently a great way to deal with heat is to soak in cold water… makes the heat feel normal.

You got any tips?

Yeah. I stay indoors as much as I can. But sometimes I have to mow my lawn and my mothers throughout the week.

When I'm in the car. I have the AC at full blast. Summer is my least favorite season.
